The new ‘Hybrid’ term is not the lash itself, but it’s a technique used by lash techs by combining different lash thicknesses to a full set of lash extensions allowing volume with less weight.

For example; using individual lashes, we combine different lash thickness to achieve a volume thicker lash extensions.

This type of lash technique gives lash volume with less weight, adds fullness to a more natural silk extension but gives a darker lash line for a more glam look.

If your natural lashes aren’t thick, Hybrid Lashes are perfect and will achieve a fuller look to fill in any empty gaps.

The Hybrid lash technique takes a little more time than natural extensions so allow 75-80 minutes for your appointment.

Should you wear mascara on Hybrid or other Lash Extensions?

Some ladies are loving applying mascara while others aren’t so sure about this is the right way to go with their extensions, so it comes down to personal preference if you use it or not.

A lot of ladies get lash extensions to stop wearing mascara, however, if you can’t get enough of the darker, the bolder, the thicker, lashes look we recommend using oil-free White Knight Mascara just $39rrp from Australian based company Poni Cosmetics.

Having your lash extensions removed every few months allows for any bacterial build up at the base of your lashes to be treated with an antibacterial solution before the reapplication of a new set of lash extensions.

Without strong, healthy natural lashes you can’t have lash extensions so, if you experience any reaction within the first 48 hours, such as redness, irritation, and itchy, swollen eyelids go straight back and have them removed, you may have an allergy to the glue.
